A THREE-bay jet wash could be installed at a Taunton garage if plans are approved.

JMS Planning, on behalf of Plaistow Broadway Filling Stations Ltd, has applied to Somerset Council for permission install three jet wash bays at the Wellington Road Service Station, near Bishops Hull.

Air, water and vacuum units would be installed at the Wellington New Road site, with a part roof over two of the bays, the plans said.

A new parking area would be created, with new bays marked on the property.

“The proposal merely seeks the addition of a valeting facility on an existing operational petrol filling station site on Wellington New Road,” it said.
