A FORMER Bruton pub – latterly converted into a B&B – is up for sale.
Oak House, in Coombe Street, is being marketed by Roderick Thomas, with an asking price of £750,000.
The building was formerly home to the Royal Pak pub, which closed some years ago, with the building falling into a state of disrepair.
However, the listing details how the property has since undergone a “detailed and sympathetic renovation and conversion”.
“Oak House offers over 5000sq ft of extensive light and airy adaptable and beautifully presented family accommodation, with the home offering six bedrooms over two floors (including upper floor individual annex arrangement), vast open plan dining/living/sitting room, rear utility/kitchenette space, ground floor study, abundance of walk-in storage cupboards and five bath/shower rooms,” it said.

“Externally, the home has a double garage, private parking for multiple vehicles and the ability to create a beautiful private family garden.”
An annex boasts two double bedrooms, served by a dedicated bathroom, the listing adds.
Outside, as well as a garage and parking, there is space for “a private landscaped and well-proportioned garden, subject to cost-related changes”, the listing adds.
