A BEAUTIFUL Somerset home shared by a rock star and a fashion designer is on the market – for a cool £3.5 million.
Selwood Lodge, in Frome, is home to Supergrass drummer Danny Goffey and wife Pearl Lowe, a former singer-songwriter turned fashion and textiles designer.
The 11-bedroom Gothic property, with the vibe of a Mediterranean villa, is being marketed by Inigo with an asking price of £3.5m.
“Selwood Lodge – an exceptional Grade II-listed house that marries Gothic revival architecture with European villa-style romance – is positioned on the northern edge of Frome,” the listing said.
“Built in 1825, the honey-hued stone house extends over 7,500 sq ft, with 11 bedrooms and a suite of reception rooms, lit by terrific full-height sash windows.”

The property is set in grounds of around 1.5 acres, with a “sweeping” drive and views of the Somerset hills.
Goffey shot to fame with Supergrass, known for its such as Alright and Pumping on Your Stereo, while Lowe was in indie bands Powder and Lodger, before embarking on a solo music career.
The pair share four children, while Pearl’s daughter Daisy – with former Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale – has achieved fame as a model and has appeared on Strictly Come Dancing. She is engaged to real estate developer Jordan Saul.
Selwood Lodge is only around 15 miles from Pilton, home of the Glastonbury Festival, so might be handy for the pair this summer, with Supergrass set to perform at the event.

I spent a lot of my childhood in that house. I find it hard to look at in the bohemian style but it has really lovely bones, and was a brilliant home. The back of it is older than the front from recollection. Lovely old Mulberry tree on the lawn and in my day, a ‘ha-ha’ which was pretty amusing to a 7 year old. I hope somebody lovely buys it.
I note that all the content are being sold – and it will then be easier to see how it could look.
