Landmark pub near Minehead up for sale – and comes with its own ghost!

A “BEAUTIFUL” pub near Minehead is up for sale – with an asking price of £450,000-plus – and comes with its own ghost!

The Smugglers Inn, at Blue Anchor Bay, features three suites for let, as well as four-bed owner accommodation.

It is being marketed by TAUK and the landmark pub is listed as being “full of charm, much character, and even a resident ghost”.

“Blue Anchor Bay is a pretty little seaside village which comes alive in the spring and summer, yet also benefits a strong local community, and a Hoburne Holiday & Park Home Village – adjacent to the Smugglers Inn – that operates 48 weeks of the year,” it said.

It added: “As you enter the winding driveway from the coast road, you cannot help but notice the imposing size of this property and the amount of history that must lie within.

“A beautiful pub and restaurant full of charm, character, and even a resident ghost.

“Three stunning letting suites, plus four-bed owner accommodation make up a substantial freehold period property in a stunning bay-side location close to the resort town of Minehead.”
