DRIVERS in Taunton are being warned of temporary traffic lights and road closures in the town tomorrow (Thursday, April 17).
Somerset Council said lights will be installed during “short works” at Station Road and Priorswood Road.
“The works are to repair road surface defects and have been timed to take place during the school holidays to cause as little disruption as possible,” a spokesperson said.
“They will take around two hours for each location and will take place during a working window, from 9.30am to 3.30pm.”
The lights in Taunton will be in:
- Station Road, Taunton: Two-way traffic signals on Station Road with the closure of the A3038 Priory Way. The diversion route will be via Trenchard Way.
- Priorswood Road, Taunton: Two-way traffic signals on Priorswood Road, Taunton, with the closure of Lyngford Road. The diversion route will be via Lyngford Road and Eastwick Road.
