YEOVIL MP Adam Dance discussed his experience as someone with dyslexia with chef Jamie Oliver.
Celebrity chef Jamie was at the House of Commons to call for better support for young people with dyslexia in schools.
And he met the Lib Dem MP, alongside teachers, pupils and parents, who all said dyslexic children are being left behind.
“Growing up with dyslexia, I know how tough it can be,” said Mr Dance. “Early screening, better teacher training, and proper funding are essential to ensure every child gets the help they need to thrive, not struggle.
“I’ll keep pushing for real change. Every child deserves the chance to reach their full potential.”
Mr Dance previously referenced his own experiences as someone with ADHD and dyslexia during his maiden speech in the House of Commons, during which he enocuraged young people to pursue their dreams.
