A WOMAN in her 60s was assaulted by a man in a Watchet street.
Police are investigating the incident, which unfolded in Anchor Street at around 10pm on Saturday, January 11.
After the alleged assault, a member of the public challenged the man, who threatened to punch the individual and left the scene.

“Thankfully, neither victim sustained any serious injuries,” an Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson said.
The offender is described as white, around 6ft tall, between 55 and 65 years old, of medium build, with grey hair worn in a ponytail, a goatee beard and glasses. He was wearing a wide brim hat with a band around it, a leather jacket and jeans. He was walking with a black Labrador dog.
