THREE people were injured – one seriously – after a car crashed into a tree in Weston-Super-Mare in the early hours of this morning (January 30).

The crash, involving one car, happened in Upper Kewstoke Road at around 1am this morning, police said.

“Three people were taken to hospital, one with possible life-changing injuries,” an Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson said.

“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and the road has now been reopened.

“If you were in the area, witnessed the collision or the moments leading up to it, or have relevant footage which could aid our investigation, please call us.”
