YEOVIL Recycling Centre is to close for a day, later this month.
The Somerset Council-run facility, in Artillery Road, will shut all day on Friday, January 31 for resurfacing work.
Contractor Biffa will be carrying out work, which is only expected to take a day, with the centre re-opening on Saturday, February 1.
“Residents wishing to access the site on this day should visit their next nearest site – the closest being Chard and Somerton,” a Somerset Council spokesperson said.
Recycling Sites are open from 9am to 5pm midweek, and from 9am to 4pm at the weekend.
