POLICE were called to the scene of a car fire in Bridgwater after firefighters deemed it to be “deliberate”.
A crew from the town was sent to the scene at around 4.15pm on Sunday afternoon (January 5).
A Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said the crew found the vehicle to be well alight in a car park.
“Crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus wearers and one hose reel jet,” they said.
“Police were requested to attend as this incident was believed to be deliberate ignition.”
