POLICE are trying to identify a woman in connection with the suspected theft of a bracelet in a Taunton pub.

The incident unfolded at The Perkin Warbeck pub, in East Street, on Thursday, December 5, when a person lost the jewellery – a birthday gift – after it fell from their wrist.

“We believe it may have then picked up by a member of the public who failed to hand the item in,” an Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson said.

“CCTV enquiries have been carried out and we wish to identify the woman, pictured, as part of our enquiries.”

Anyone who recognises the person pictured should contact police on 101, quoting reference number 5224319828, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
