Previously, the Red House posted how it was re-opening.

“Exciting times are ahead for The Red House,” they said. “We’re thrilled to announce that will be opening in the coming weeks under new management.

“We can’t wait to share all the fantastic things we have in store.”

The Campaign for Real Ale (Camra) previously listed The Red House as an “old, substantial, stone-built pub”.

“The name Red House is believed to derive from the name Redlings, the rich arable land around the pub being reddish in colour,” it added.
