A MAN in his 30s suffered “significant injuries” after an altercation in a Chard street on Thursday afternoon (October 10).
Police said the incident happened in Boden Street, with a man in his 50s arrested.
Detective Inspector Nick Riley, of Avon & Somerset Police, said: “This was a shocking incident and left the victim with significant injuries, however we do not believe there is any wider risk to the public.”
