David Walliams, Paul Sinha and Clarkson’s Farm’s Kaleb Cooper all coming to Somerset this month

FAMOUS faces are set to descend on Yeovil this month as part of the Yeovil Literary Festival.

Fresh off Clarkson’s Farm, the Chipping Norton farmer now turned TV star Kaleb Cooper is set for a sold-out show at 6pm at the Westlands Ballroom on October 24, while you can still get tickets to talks by other big-name authors such as Sir Ian Rankin, Kate Humble and Vanessa Kisuule.

The Yeovil Literary Festival gets underway this week (October 10) and lasts until November 16, with a programme designed to fit booklovers of all shapes and sizes.

St John The Baptist Church will be the venue for an event with multi-million selling Sir Ian Rankin, starting at 7pm on October 10, where he will be talking about his latest John Rebus novel, Midnight and Blue.

Hazel Prior will introduce readers to Gone with the Penguins, a heart-warming and charming final chapter of Veronica McCreedy’s story at Yeovil Library at 12pm on October 18, while Andrew Child will be discussing the 29th book of the incredibly popular Jack Reacher series from 4pm on October 26 at Wheeldon Suites 2 & 3.

A number of high-profile celebrity names will be in attendance.

Paul Sinha, known for The Chase and Taskmaster, will be discussing his coming-of-age memoir, One Sinha Lifetime: Comedy, disaster and one man’s quest for happiness at Westlands Ballroom at 6pm on October 25.

Countdown’s Susie Dent will be speaking about her debut mystery novel, Guilty by Definition at the Westlands Ballroom at 2pm on October 26.

Martin Clunes will be taking over the Westlands Ballroom at 2pm on October 24 where he will be chatting about his latest book, Meetings With Remarkable Animals, which celebrates the fascinating, moving and sometimes astonishing ways animals have enriched our lives.

David Walliams will be talking about his new murder mystery, Super Sleuth, at 2pm on October 27.
