THE A37 Keyford roundabout at Barwick will be closed overnight from Monday, September 2 to Friday, September 6 to allow for resurfacing works.

Work is taking place between 6pm and 7.30am, with a road closure in place during these hours.

Access will be maintained for residents, businesses and emergency services throughout, however Somerset Council said some delays and inconvenience can be expected.

Councillor Richard Wilkins, Somerset Council’s lead member for transport and digital, said: “Resurfacing is an essential part of our programme maintenance schedule.

“To minimise disruption these works will be done out of peak hours during the night as we appreciate this will have an impact on local traffic. Please plan ahead if using this route.

“The team will do everything they can to complete this scheme ahead of schedule.”
