STUDENTS at King Arthur’s School in Wincanton have been praised for their “excellent” GCSE results.
The school has seen a significant increase in both attainment and progress, particularly in all core subjects.
A school spokesperson said: “This achievement is testament to the resilience, dedication, and hard work of our students, their families, and our dedicated and committed teaching staff.
“Under the direction of Ofqual and as well published, results are now in line with and have been returned to levels of 2019.
“This makes the achievements of the students at King Arthur’s School all the more worthy as they were impacted by the pandemic for the better part of two years. Despite this, the results celebrated today reflect the determination of our students to achieve academically and succeed in their educational journey.
“We are immensely proud of the achievements of all students and hope they will be very proud of their success. We have seen a significant increase in both attainment and progress, particularly in all core subjects.”
