FIREFIGHTERS assisted the Coastguard to rescue a woman from mud in West Somerset.
A crew from Williton was called to Blue Anchor at around 7.50pm on Monday evening (August 12) and assisted the rescue for around two hours.
“Local fire crews assisted Coastguard crews with the successful rescue of a lone female who had accidentally got herself stuck in the mud near to Blue Anchor,” a Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said.
