Westway Shopping in Frome could be set for a new-look

A FROME shopping centre could be about to get a new look.

A planning application has been submitted to Somerset Council for the replacement of signs at the Westway Shopping Centre.

Submitted by Nixon Kitchener Architects on behalf of Maybrook Properties Ltd, the application details plans to replace 29 signs around the shopping centre.

“The existing signage installed at the Westway is dilapidated and requires updating, with many graphics being outdated and signs having become weathered and torn,” it said.

The scheme will now be considered by Somerset Council planners. For more details, and to comment on the application, visit somerset.gov.uk and search for reference 2024/1380/ADV.
