THIS is the moment a BMX trick went a bit awry during a display at the Taunton Flower Show on Saturday (August 3).
The dramatic moment – caught on camera by your Leveller – came during a crowd-pleasing display by Devon-based Extreme Bike Battle, with riders showcasing their skills in the show’s main arena.
Battling strong crosswinds, highly-skilled riders of petrol- and pedal-powered bikes showcased their tricks as hundreds watched on.

Stunts by the petrol-powered bike wowed the crowds
Riding the BMW was stunt star Logan, who took to the skies during a number of daredevil drops from the top of the crew’s van onto the ramp below – even removing his hands and feet form the bike as he travelled through the air!

Logan pulled off a number of successful stunts before the final drop…
But it was during the final attempt at a crowd-pleasing stunt by the team’s BMX stunt star, Logan, that something went awry as he appeared to attempt a full loop the loop at the Vivary Park venue.
However, in true BMX fashion, he was undeterred, and finished the show with a wave to the appreciate crowd and a few quizzical looks at his bike. All in a day’s work for these daredevils.
Here are the photographs telling the story of the dramatic fall:

Logan sped to the ramp and took off – preparing to perform a full loop

But as he approached the pivotal moment, things started to go wrong!

Then, the rider spiralled dramatically towards the ramp

But thanks to his lightning reactions, he was able to land relatively safely

Logan disappeared behind the ramp as the crowd watched on

Before coming to rest at the bottom of the ramp

However, after dusting himself down, he waved to the crowd who loved the performance
