THE M5 is closed northbound between junctions 25 (Taunton) and 24 (Bridgwater) after a lorry collided with a bridge just before 6.30am today, Friday June 28.
Police say that one person is trapped in the vehicle.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: “Emergency services are on the scene. One person is reported as injured and trapped in the vehicle.
“Motorists are urged to seek alternative routes. Anyone with any dashcam footage which could help enquiries into what happened is asked to call 101 and give log number 145 of June 28.”
