REPORTS of a fire near West Coker turned out to be a barn and a caravan alight.
Members of the public reported at around 11.30pm on Monday night (April 1), saying they could see a fire in the open.
A crew from Yeovil was sent to the scene and found a barn and caravan on fire.
A Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said they called for assistance to deal with the blaze, requesting more crews, a water carrier and heavy rescue vehicle attend.
