This morning at 11.30am Ollie Woodhams (left), a Strategic Manager at Somerset County Council and Jeremy Greenop (right), Chair of Somerton Library Trust signed an agreement. SCC had already agreed that ownership of the library building to the town of Somerton. Today’s agreement will see  a service level agreement covering how the newly formed Library Trust will work with the County Council into the future. SCC has pledged funding support and provision of the regular library infrastructure (books shelving systems etc) for the next 7 years.
