First Somerset Results

We now have results in for three Somerset seats.

Rebecca Pow has held Taunton Deane despite a strong challenge from Gideon Amos. Independent John Hunt also attracted a decent result for an independent in a General Election:

In Bridgwater and West Somerset Ian Liddell Grainger had a much easier time winning with 62% of the vote but Labour have cemented their place as the main opposition party:

Oliver Thornton (Lab) 11,388

Bill Revans (LD) 7,805

Wells was also a much closer race but former MP Tessa Munt has not yet managed to catch up with her 2015 replacement James Heappy who managed to capture 54% of the vote:

James Heappey (Con) 33,336

Tessa Munt (LD) 23,345
